It is therefore imperative for everybody to have their eyes tested at least once every five years or sooner if there is a known family history of systemic disease.
Previously undiagnosed ocular disease accounts for a significant proportion of legal blindness in the world. Sometimes these conditions can go on for many years without the patient being aware.

At Omni, Dr. Allan Ared will perform a range of comprehensive eye exams & assessments to ensure good healthy eyes and in some cases order investigations for the presence of systemic disease.
With specialty instruments such as Retinal OCT, Humphrey Visual Field Analyser (HFA), Non-invasive ophthalmic photography, specular microscopy, ultrasound biometry, tonometers, corneal topography and dry eye laboratory testing we have the ability to effectively diagnose, treat and manage a wide variety of eye disease cases.
Conditions such as refractive error, cataract, age-related macula degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, red eye, dry eye, double vision, blocked tear ducts, keratoconus, myopia, corneal foreign bodies, astigmatism, Fuch's dystrophy and ocular allergy are a mere snapshot of what is treated at Omni on a day to day basis.
